Lamar Mills

Lamar has a B.S. - Secondary Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  He has been a Class A Member of the PGA of America since 1999.  He started his career at Brown Acres Golf Course in Chattanooga, TN.  In 1999 he accepted a postion as General Manager/Head Golf Professional at Rolling Hills Golf Club in Cleveland.  He was also the 2003 Chattanooga and Tennessee Merchandiser of the year Public Category. 2008 Chattanooga and Tennessee PGA Section Merchandiser of the year for Private Category. January 2009 promoted to General Manager .

Golf Professional

Ben Blalock

Ben graduated from the University of Georgia with a BA in 2004.  He began his career at Sea Island Golf Club in 2007.  In 2008, he moved on to Muirfield Village Golf Club where he spent one season before returning to Sea Island where he joined the staff at Frederica Golf Club.  In 2010, he moved to Chevy Chase, Maryland as the First Assistant Golf Professional at Columbia Country Club.  He is a member of the PGA of America and has served on the Board of the Central Chapter of the Middle Atlantic PGA. Ben Joined the CCC in December 2011.

Office Manager

Sarina Doughty

Sarina moved to the area in 1998 and is proud to call TN her home. She served as Manager of a Townhouse community, and a Customer Service Rep. for Georgia Pacific before coming to the CCC in 2003. Serving as the Asst. Office Mgr. for 8 years, and completing her degree from Cleveland State in Business & Management, Sarina transitioned to Office Manager in Jan. 2012.

Asst. Office Manager
Nicole Timmons

Moved to Cleveland from Ohio in 1998 and began her work at the club as a server.  In 2000 she accepted an office position and by learning and improving all of her skills she quickly made the transition to Office Manager in 2003. The CCC has been proud to support Nicole in her quest to earn a teaching degree from Lee University. Nicole will be serving as the Asst. Office Manager as she continues with the CCC part time pursuing her degree.

Tennis Professional
Tony Cavett

Tony has been the Tennis Professional here since 1977.  He has a B.S. - Business Administration from Tusculum College.  He has been certified as a Tennis Professional by the U.S. Professional Association and the Professional Tennis Registry.  He currently oversees the tennis, pool and fitness facilities here at the club.  He also coaches the nationally ranked men's and women's tennis teams at Lee University.

Golf Course Superintendent

Jeff Travis

Jeff Travis comes to us from Atlanta National Golf Club where he served as the Golf Course Superintendent. Prior to being at Atlanta National, Jeff worked as: an Application Technician at the TPC of Scottsdale, an Assistant on the construction and Grow-in at TPC at Wakefield Plantation, an Assistant for David Stone at the Honors Course, and the Superintendent at The Golf Club at Bradshaw Farm. Jeff is a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, as well as the Tennessee Golf Course Superintendents Association. Jeff graduated first in his class with perfect attendance from Mundus Institute in 1999. He is licensed by the Department of Agriculture as a Pesticide Applicator, and is also a Certified Contractor with the Soil and Water Conservation Commission.

Chef

Eric Elkins

 

Started his culinary experience in 1995 working for his father Dale Elkins owner/operator Wild Water Deli & Steakhouse in Ocoee TN. In 1997 he started training under executive chef Paul Aplin of Tellico Yacht Club until 1998, when he took over as Head Chef for Wild Water Deli & Steakhouse at his father’s retirement. In 2000 Eric started at the Cleveland Country Club under Executive Chef Tim Hopkins. Eric became Lead Chef for the 19th hole. In 2004 Eric and his father opened Sydney’s on the River at Island Cove Marina, again working as Head Chef. In 2006 he returned to the Cleveland Country Club as the Asst. Sous Chef under Executive Chef Joe Lilley where he has expanded his culinary skills, and has now been with the CCC for 8 years.Click here to email Eric

Event & Membership Manager

Meredith Leastman

Meredith began her career in event management in early 2000. She has produced, marketed and managed a wide array of international and domestic events and conferences for various industries. She continues to maintain an active role in vital industry affiliations such as MPI (Meeting Planners International), IAEE (International Association of Exhibitions and Events), PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) to keep abreast of the latest industry trends and information.
